Project Scope: Sequence of Operation: This proposal consists of an MFT 550 XED Industrial Performance Series Friction feeder system to feed and bar code verify paperboard backer cards up to 20” wide. The MFT 550 IP XED Friction feeder will be mounted onto an HDSR 1000-550 Stand on Rollers and separate the backer cards on the feeder discharge to present them one at a time under the bar code reader to be code verified. The verified cards will be fed directly onto an SC 2000-550 Shingling Conveyor (approximately 6 ft long). There will be a small gap between the end of the feeder and the shingling conveyor to allow for a Reject on Bad Read or No Read system. If a no read or a bad read occurs the feeder will activate the reject mechanism to divert the no read or bad read card down between the end of the feeder and the shingling conveyor into a customer supplied collection box of some sort. A Static Reduction Station consisting of a power supply and a static bar mounted on the top and bottom the product will be used to reduce static on the product from the top and bottom as they are fed. The verified product will be counted and a kicker device will be used to tab the completed products. The operator can enter a count for the kicking device to tab the competed products (Example Tab every 100 completed products). The feeding system can also be set to feed a pre selected quantity to shingle and count the finished product for hand packaging. Options available: Other options include a spare parts kit and a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly. As an option start up assistance can be purchases at your location, plus travel and living expenses that are billed at actual cost. Additional hours are available at our standard rates. We recommend that the technician set up the equipment at your facility and train your personnel on proper operation, adjustments and maintenance. Equipment not manufactured by Multifeeder is quoted on the basis of proposals from the vendor. Price changes from the vendor will be adjusted at the time of your order. This proposal reflects the use of Multifeeder Technology’s standard specifications. Any alteration to this proposal will be on a time and materials basis. Technical support will be scheduled after a signed purchase order has been received by Multifeeder Technology. Please allow enough time for your purchase order to be received before scheduling service support.
