Project Scope: Sequence of Operation: The proposed system consists of two MFT 250 Industrial Performance “IP” Series ED Friction Feeder systems to count paper cards up to 8” wide into batches. The feeder will feed the cards one at a time into and IMCT 250 Adjustable Depth and Width Catch Tray where the products will be stacked and accumulated. Each feeder will be configured with left and Right Discharge Side Guides to be certain that the products are straight as they are fed. A Photo Optic Start Sensor will be mounted in the tray to signal the feeder to replenish the tray once a stack is removed. An operator will remove the stack of cards from the tray to assemble into Steam Plus, Spor View, and Air View products. For the Steam Plus product one feeder can be set to feed the 4-1/2” x 6” cards the 6” dimension leading with the count set to 36. An operator can remove the stack of 36 from the feeder and add the one card with the strip and then add another stack of 36 or set the count on the second feeder to 37 to add a 37 count. For the Spor View Product one feeder will be set to feed the 4-1/2” x 6” cards the 6” dimension leading with the count set to 17. The second feeder will be set to feed 4-1/2” x 6” cards with slots with the count set to 40. An operator can create the product by collating one stack of without slots, one stack of card with slots and then add the vial and the printed card. Next the operator would add a stack of cards without to create the completed product. For the Air View product: An operator can collate a single blank card and a foam piece. The operator can then add an additional stack of cards from the feeder catch tray, another printed card, and another stack of cards from the second feeder. Options available: Each feeder system can be mounted onto an optional HDSR 1000-250 Stand on Rollers for mobility. An optional vacuum track consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes can be used to help the feeder better grip the product as they are fed. An optional Bar Code reader system can be used to verify the bar code on the product as they are fed. Other options include a spare parts kit and a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly. As an option start up assistance at your location can be purchased, plus travel and living expenses that are billed at actual cost. Additional hours are available at our standard rates. We recommend that the technician set up the equipment at your facility and train your personnel on proper operation, adjustments and maintenance.
