Project Scope: MFT 350 iP XED Friction Feeder system to feed stacks of credit cards to be code verified by a customer supplied and integrated bar code reader system. The completed stacks will be wrapped by a wrapping machine at a rate of up to 50 batches per minute. The MFT 350 iP ED Friction Feeder will feed the credit cards one at a time and a customer supplied and integrated bar code reader system will verify that the bar code of each piece increments by one. To interface with the customer supplied bar code reader the feeder will be equipped with an Input Output card to receive a signal from the bar coder reader to stop if a no Read or a bad Read occurs. The scanned cards will be fed into an ADT 350 Automatic Drop Table where the cards will be stacked and accumulated. The feeder drop table combination will be signaled to drop a stack and can provide feeder status to the wrapping machine using a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. The equipment will be mounted onto a BASR 350.
