Project Scope: MFT 350/150 ip XLD Friction Feeder system to feed CDs onto a folder gluer machine. The MFT 350/150 ip XLD Friction Feeder system will be equipped with a 375 mm long extended discharge to be straddle mounted over your folder gluer to feed at a rate of up to 350 per minute. The folder gluer will feed a base product and the MFT Friction Feeder will be signaled by a Photo Optic Start Sensor feed a product into the pinch point of an upper belt assembly of the folder gluer to assure proper placement of the product. The feeder will be mounted onto an MFT Mounting Plate. The feeder will be equipped with MFT Continuous Accutipping with an encoder mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes the computer timing compensation package varies the timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. A standard 350 discharge will be included to allow you to run various products up to 12” in width.
