Project Scope: The proposed system consists of an MFT 550 ip SLD Friction Feeder to present bags to be labeled by a labeling machine at a rate of 30 bags per minute. Your labeling machine will be positioned above the feeder discharge and will apply labels to the bag as the bag is in motion, sensing on the bag’s leading edge. The feeder discharge belts can be positioned to provide adequate access to the labeler head. The feeder will be mounted on a portable Stand on Rollers. The feeder magazine has a capacity of 30”. The operator will be able to easily change the feeder count and feed batches of variable size.
