Project Scope: An HSC-4 High Speed Collator system with twelve (12) MFT 350 ip ED Friction Feeder stations straddle mounted in line to collate packs of signs to be wrapped. Each feeder will feed a set quantity of signs backwards against the lugs. The collator is equipped with 2” high lugs. The operator will select which feeders to use in accumulating the desired stack and set the count on each unit. The collator will be run in intermittent motion. When each feeder has completed the feed cycle, the collator will move forward one registration point. All feeders will again start the feed cycle if a stack of products is present. The collator is equipped with a belted discharge to transfer the stack of signs onto the wrapper infeed. Graphco will send staff to MFT for training on the collator line for the purpose of performing the installation and integration at the customer’s site.
