What Arrived: 950 IP Feeder suffers from false Major Product Jam. Went through remote trouble shooting, and believe problem is on the GEN1 IP Motherboard ASSY, returning for evaluation and repair. (Machine Serial Number:unknown at this time)
Description of Problem: Motherboard Part Number 82202-0C Serial Number 9120 - Computer Board SN TS 89859 - Power Supply SN CA34025991
Work Done: Major Product Jam was consistent, but passed all other tests. Found R150 for input to AC Detect was open, causing the AMP DSP to be unable to go to Ready Light. Used PN 6571900 from Tool Box. Replaced Thermistor with 18 AWG Wire. U46 did not have Inductor, replaced U46 and added Inductor (checked parts out of stock) Replaced 8 PIN Straight Header, part from Tool Box. Motherboard now runs a Motor! Needs some more finishing touches, and some burn in time, before quote. 10/28/22 DTK Added some modern Spade Connectors for AC. Put back together with customer Power Supply. Passed all diagnostics, and put in 24 hour burn in. After 2 hours successful burn in, prepared repair quote, and emailed to the customer. 10/31/22 DTK Still burning in. Got PO. Sent paper work to accounting for prepayment. SO# 042167 11/1/22 DTK Payment received, and shipping. 11/7/22 DTK
Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: A Resister for the AC Detect Circuit, opened causing false Major Product Jam. 8 Pin Connector for P10 is broken. While boards are here we recommend making some upgrades to prevent future failures. Replace problematic Thermistor with 18 AWG Wire. Replace DC Convertor with Inductor in series.
