What Arrived: Customer returning (2) 4107700 Drive Assemblies for repair. Told him as long as the Composite Block are not broken we can repair for less then 60% of new. (Machine Serial Number:unknown at this time)
Description of Problem: (2) 41077, one populated with 4 stubshafts . one with only 3 (both drive assy have stripper wheel shaft) S/N 090828 0240 REV 00 and S/N 1505251365 REV 0A with crank arm on sw shaft.
Work Done: Clean housings, remove stub shafts, clips and bearings.DEK 12/10/21 Polish Stub shafts, replace 1 missing 1260400 and one worn badly under collar position.Replace bearings.12//21 DEK Press stub shafts into housings, retape shim tape as needed. Replaced one plastic housing due to unrepairable crack..12//21 DEK Reassembled, verified offset hole for crank drive with GNG gage. Created SO 040121 to ship for 22 Dec. dek 12/21/21
Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: Replace 4 bearings in each assembly. Replace missing 126400 stubshaft and also replace one of the provided 1260400 which has too much wear on mating surface with split collar to remain tight and concentric. replace all 4 missing 1432115 wormshafts and their 4 thrust washers. New worm shafts have 6.5mm dia input shafts which require the mating U-joint to be the same. Clean shafts, repair shim tape to reduce play. One of the housings has an extraneous crank arm which will be returned with the units.
