What Arrived: I/O board input 3 appears unresponsive. Probably resul.. Customer intends to send , I/o board 7032300 and interface cable modified to connect to Keyence NR2 instead of micrpscan IB-131 per our drawing, the Keyence N-R2 as well as the Keyence BL-1301 scan head. I have also requested samples of the barcode they are trying to scan.. Secondary problem is they cannot get a good read from the Keyence after teaching it. We will not be able to fix that, Keyence programming problem.. (Machine Serial Number:0734-06477 )
Description of Problem: (1) 7032300 ISOLATED I/O BOARD (1) Keyence N-R2 (1) Keyence BL-1301 scan head (1) Customer-made harness connecting I/O board and NR-2 per Rohrer schematic 2007092 rev 0C, shipped connected.
Work Done: Verified problem with input 3 on I/O board. Replaced opto isolator U1 and verified sw3 settings open now. Suspect originally sw3A was closed eliminating R3 current limiting resistor allowed N-R@ output 1 to smoke the opto.DEK 12/15/20 I/O brd tested fine all outputs and inputs. SW3 left all open, SW 1,2,4 all closed. When arrived SW4E was open (irrelevant in this case) so toggled to closed before shipped.Verified scanner was triggered by out1 and returned goodread to in3 and badread to in4.DEK 12/16/20 Made CYA video of barcode test and created SO 037646 and packaged in original box to ship. DEK 12/17/20
Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: Repair damaged opto isolator on Input 3 of 7032300 Isolated I/O board. Setup test jig and verified that scanner triggers via output 1on I/O board and receives Good scan signal through Input 3 and Bad scan signal through Input 4.
