What Arrived: Machine keeps going into “major product jam” mode when there is no jam. ref# WO# 2369 Call or e-mail Ed Jennings with cost to repair and PO# (Machine Serial Number:0432-07131)
Description of Problem: MFT 250 ED INT Serial Number 0432-07131 (1) 30mm SE V Feed Belt (1) 30mm Stripper Wheel (4) 20mm Discharge Belt (1) Set Mag Side Guides (1) E/R (1) 120V Power Cord
Work Done: Found that U46 on AMP Board failed causing the Major Product Jam. Vicki replaced, and AMP board can now run a motor. Found cooling fans not running, re-crimped to get them working, found one fan made loud noise from Motor, replaced this fan and the filters. Updated Software to 3.1.27 A. Machine passed diagnostics. Prepared repair quote. Will wait until we get some burn in time tomorrow, before sending quote. 5/17/18 DTK Sent Customer Repair Quote. Received PO. 5/18/18 DK Shipping under SO# 031746 5/22/18 DK RETURN FEDEX GND 0111-1301-0
Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: Found that a DC Converter failed on the Motor AMP Drive Board causing the false Major Product Jam fault. Found both cooling fans in electrical cabinet were not running, were able to re-crimp to get them running. The fact they were not running may have caused the DC Converter failure. One of the fans makes a loud noise from its motor, recommend replacing. Fan filters are in need of replacing. Cabinet Latches are striping out. Updated software to the latest revision level, for the electrical hardware in the machine.
