What Arrived: Customer sending in MFT 350 int ED SN: 0810-07303 for repair and factory refurbishment. This is a used machine Moll acquired. Moll would like a quote for it to be repaired if needed, refurbished, brought to Moll Tipping configuration, including Accutipping /w encoder, if needed.. What is included with the machine, is all they have for it. (Machine Serial Number:0810-07303)
Description of Problem: MFT 350 ED INT Serial Number 0810-07303 (3) 30mm R SE Feed Belts (3) 30mm Stripper Wheels (6) 20mm Discharge Belts (1) 25mm Rear Support Curve (1) 50mm Rear Support Curve (1) Set Mag Side Guides (2) Product Support Rod ASSYs (2) H-Blocks (1) E/R Pair (missing a mounting rod) (1) 7013100 Start Sensor (no bracket) (1) LSE (damage to cable near encoder, missing cover) (1) 120V Power Cord
Work Done: LSE is not recommended due to cable damage, and missing cover. Software card is missing. Machine was NOT sold with Accutipping. Prepped new software card. Found Computer Board failed causing no boot up. Replaced with used board. Feeder passed electrical diagnostics. Put in burn in and observed for proper operation. After an hour of burn in, prepared repair quote, and emailed to the customer. Stopped burn in. 9/15/17 DK Requiring 50% down before shipping, or copy of check. Customer to get prepayment invoice. 9/18/17 DK Took second look at Encoder, per Kevin Moll. Cable issue is too close to Encoder to repair, and the spring load portion is damaged. Encoder not worth repairing. Continued work on machine. 9/21/17 Completed work to machine, pulled all parts, put in 48 hour burn in, and observed for proper operation. 9/22/17 DK Feeder passed burn in, and diagnostics. Updated Assigned Serial Numbers. Shipping under SO# 030141 9/25/17 DK
Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: Machine is missing its Software Chip. Computer Board failed causing it to be unable to load software. Stack Light is missing. Fan Filters are worn and in need of replacing. Accutipping license was never purchased for this machine. Line Speed Encoder returned, is missing it's cover, and has damage to the cable very near the Encoder, making a repair to the Line Speed Encoder un-recommended. Start Sensor is missing a bracket. Collars to align Feed Belts, are cracked. Discharge Belts are worn and in need of replacing. Curve Brackets, and Adjustable Levers, are to bring the 100mm and 25mm Rear Support Curves up to current revision, and replace broken Adjustable Levers. Machine is missing a Slider Rod to mount the Product Sensor. B&R Moll's Discount has been applied to this quote.
