What Arrived: Customer sending in machine for repair. Schedule day of arrival is 11/15/16. Start on it right away. (Machine Serial Number:unknown at this time)
Description of Problem: (1) MFT 250 IP XED 150mm wide SN: 0719-06418 (1) 30mm Rough Natural feed belt (0) Stripper wheels yes that is a ZERO (4) 20mm discharge belts (1) ER pair (2) Magazine Side Plates (1) Product Support Rod (1) Stack Light (1) Rear Support Base Holder (2) Discharge side guides
Work Done: Checked in machine, blew off the significant amount of dust and inspected. Perfoemed standard check in IO testing and everything checked out fine. Quoted machine. Completed repairs to machine found some additional issues. 11/21/2016 MM put machine into 24 hour burn in 11/22/2016 MM Machine passed 24 hour burn in 11/23/2016 MM Emailed customer updated quote. 11/29/2016 MM received updated PO 11/29/2016 MM Performed final checkout, everything looks good, machine is ready to ship. 11/29/2016 mm Under sales order 028104 Repair of MFT 250 IP XED 150mm wide SN: 0719-06418 under RMA# 0553555
Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: Feed belt is worn and cracked and needs to be replaced. Stripper wheel is missing and needs to be installed. Discharge belts are getting worn and smooth, recommend replacing discharge exit rollers both have gouges and grooves in them, this can cause significant wear on the inside of the belt, these need to be replaced. both fan filters need to be replaced. Found holes in height adjustment bellows around shafts, these were replaced. Found severe nicks in wires to product sensor pair, product sensor pair was replaced. Repair quote does not reflect final charges for service of this unit. Other problems either mechanical or electrical may arise during the RMA process due to natural causes. Quoted labor is an estimate. Actual labor time will be billed. This quote does not reflect shipping charges, or packaging material. All items will be shipped via UPS ground unless otherwise specified on purchase order. A $295.00 diagnostic/administration/handling fee will be applied to an item the customer deems is uneconomical to repair. All replaced and un-repairable items will be disposed of, unless otherwise stated on purchase order. * A hard copy purchase order that agrees to repair quote charges is required before work can continue.
