What Arrived: Returning Feeder for general evaluation, and refurbishment. Returning 10/20/14 needs one week turn around. (Machine Serial Number:unknown at this time)
Description of Problem: MFT 250 IP 150 XLD S/N 0643-06334 NO Feed Belts (pulleys for 1 30mm wide Feed Belt) (1) Stripper Wheel 60 dorumeter purple (2) Discharge Belts (1) Rear Support Curve 50mm (1) CD Product Support Rod Assy. (1) Product Support Rod assy (standard) (1) Set of Mag Side Guides (1) Set Discharge Side Guides (sheet metal) (1) LSE w/ Moll style bracket (1) Signal Light (1) Interlock Plug Feeder came in partially disassembled.
Work Done: Evaluated Feeder. Over all it is pretty good shape. Few worn parts, and a cooling fan failed. Compleated quote with vacuum Feed Belt Upgrade and HCP Discharge upgrade like machine Peter N. upgraded in the field recently. Had emailed Ed asking about this, but he is out of the office today. Replaced failed cooling fan and both fan filters. Put Feeder in un loaded burn in, and observed for proper operation. Emailed Ed repair quote. 10/17/14 DK Tony completed work to the Feeder. Feeder passed burn in. Told ED machine complete, and need PO for Dave M to deliver. aprox 11/24/14 DK Feeder passed diagnostics. Still no PO after several touches by Dave M and myself. Once we receive PO machine can ship. 12/15/14 DK Received PO. Processed under SO# 023487. Dave Morris deliverying
Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: Feed Belts are missing. Stripper Wheels, and teeth for Spur Gears are worn and in need of replacing. One of the Bellows is cracked, and in need or replacing. The fan filters are deteriorating. One of the Cooling Fans for the electrical enclosure has failed. Discharge belts could use replacing. Repair quote does not reflect final charges for service of this unit. Other problems either mechanical or electrical may arise during the RMA process due to natural causes. Quoted labor is an estimate. Actual labor time will be billed. This quote does not reflect shipping charges. All items will be shipped via UPS ground unless otherwise specified on purchase order. A $475.00 diagnostic/administration/handling fee will be applied to an item the customer deems is uneconomical to repair. All replaced and un-repairable items will be disposed of, unless otherwise stated on purchase order. * A hard copy purchase order that agrees to repair quote charges is required before work can continue.
