Description of Problem: (1) MFT 250ip XLD 150 (S/N 0643-06334) (1) Product Support Curve (Metal, 50mm) (2) Magazine Side Plates (2) Product Support Rods (2) 30mm Rough Cream Feed Belts (2) 30mm Stripper Wheels (4) XLD Discharge Belts (Plum, 20mm) (1) Set of Side Guides (XED, Old Style) (1) Product Sensor (P/N 7007700) (1) Stack Light (P/N 7005200) (1) Line Speed Encoder (With Mounting Bracket) (1) 14 Pin Ext Cable (1) SICK Start Sensor (With Mounting Bracket) (1) 110V Power Cord
Work Done: QUOTE NEW ENCODER. CURRENT ENCODER SHAFT IS BENT. Performed full diagnostics to feeder to assess current state of feeders operation. Everything seems to be functioning normally. 8/21/13 Pulled parts from mechanical side of feeder for evaluation. Most of the parts seem to be in good working order. Checked bearings in bearing housings. Checked for vertical and horizontal slop in height adjustment end piece shafts. 8/22/13 Prepared quote for customer. Repairs will continue pending PO> 8/23/13 Received PO. Performed all quoted repairs. Put feeder into 24 hour burn in. 8/26/13 Performed final diagnostic check out to feeder. Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: During evalutation we found that the product sensor emitter is getting weak, sensor should be replaced. The feed belts, discharge belts, and stripper wheels on this feeder are all worn and should be replaced. The spur gear teeth are worn, and will adversely affect accuracy if not replaced. The discharge end rollers are heavily gouged and require replacement. The Line Speed Encoder's shaft is bent, and should be replaced. Repair quote does not reflect final charges for service of this unit. Other problems either mechanical or electrical may arise during the RMA process due to natural causes. Quoted labor is an estimate. Actual labor time will be billed. This quote does not reflect shipping charges. All items will be shipped via UPS ground unless otherwise specified on purchase order. A $475.00 diagnostic/administration/handling fee will be applied to an item the customer deems is uneconomical to repair. All replaced and un-repairable items will be disposed of, unless otherwise stated on purchase order. * A hard copy purchase order that agrees to repair quote charges is required before work can continue.
