What Arrived: (Machine Serial Number:unknow at this time)SN 0505-06105 I talked to Multifeeder on the price to upgrade a feeder. You can upgrade a 250ip to include Accu-Tipping, but not the other 250 model. We do have a 250ip on top of the LTS office at main so that can be upgraded at the following cost: - Accu-Tipping $3,095.00 - 12” discharge $2,378.00 - 4 discharge belts $236 Total cost is $5,709 if we install the discharge section ourselves, while the Accu-Tipping includes labor. The 12” discharge is required for Accu-Tipping, but we may get lucky and find that we have a feeder that already has it. I just know we have one feeder with an extra long discharge.

Work Done: Evaluated the feeder. Found sevral mechincal issues with the feeder. Prepared repair quote to include these items as well as accutipping, and a shorter discharge. Emailed repair quote to customer. 11/11/10 DK Recieved PO 11/11/10 DK Resumed work on feeder. 11/12/10 DK Found some other mechincal items that needed replacing for the feeder to run in accutipping accuratly. Broke some parts for the height adjustment in process of removing them to get to the bearing housings. Compleated work on feeder. 11/17/10 DK Put feeder in burn in, and observed for proper operation. 11/18/10 DK Feeder passed burn in. Enabled accuutipping. Feeder passed check out. Customer to set up courier for pick up. 11/19/10 DK Sales order # 15085
Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: Two of the light bulbs in the stack light are burnt out. The white collars that align the idler pulleys are either broke or have stress marks. One of the drive pulleys has severe gauges in the inner diameter causing it to be unable to slide on shaft. The material on the side of this pulley has worn all the way down to were it is affecting the threaded hole for the set screw. Two of the discharge pulleys are severe worn. The rubber bellows have holes in them allowing debris into the bearings. There is mechanical slippage between the mating of one of the center piece shafts, and its end piece shafts. This slippage will cause the feeder to be unable to tip the product accurately. The feeder has excess vertical slop in the stripper wheel, and upper discharge shaft. This will also cause inconsistent feeding. Replacing the bearing flanges in the bearing housing will take care of the excess slop. Repair quote does not reflect final charges for service of this unit. Other problems either mechanical or electrical may arise during the RMA process due to natural causes. This quote does not reflect shipping charges. All items will be shipped via UPS ground unless otherwise specified on purchase order. A $475.00 diagnostic/administration/handling fee will be applied to an item the customer deems is uneconomical to repair. All replaced items will be disposed of, unless other wise stated on purchase order. * A hard copy purchase order that agrees to repair quote charges is required before work can continue.
