Description of Problem: MFT 250 ip sn 0701-06351 (1) 30mm r egc fb (1) 30mm sw (1) rear support bracket not discharge, discharge belts, or discharge shafts. Courier drop off on palat.
Work Done: Evaluated feeder, found that AtoD in product sensor circuit had is in put shorted to ground. Sent board to Chong for IC repair. Found that feeder had a black composit pulley and black composit stripping arms replaced at no charge. Found that pined pulleys for upper discharge have failed replaced with flat bore, and two other pulleys had damage to flanges these will be charged for. 3/5/10 DK
Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: Found that A to D converter in product sensor circuitry had failed causing the feeder to always believe product is present. The first pulleys part numbers were pined, and they had mechanical slop. Replaced these pulleys with ones with flat bores and secured with setscrews. This slop will cause inconsistent placement of products from the feeder. The other two pulleys had damage to flanges from an attempt to remove them. Disassembled the bearing housings pressed damaged pulleys off. Cleaned shaft of burrs, and replaced pulleys. Feeder has past an electrical check out, and a mechanical evaluation. Repair quote does not reflect final charges for service of this unit. Other problems either mechanical or electrical may arise during the RMA process due to natural causes. This quote does not reflect shipping charges. All items will be shipped via UPS ground unless otherwise specified on purchase order. * A hard copy purchase order that agrees to repair quote charges is required before work can continue.
