What Arrived: problem in product sensor circuit returned under RMA#0552141 seprated to this RMA# (Machine Serial Number:unknow at this time)
Description of Problem: MFT 250 ip XED (150) SN 0733-06470 (Their best Multifeeder) (1) 30mm cream vac belt (1) 30mm SW (4) 20 mm vac conver belts as discharge belts (1) 30mm L shaped support curve (1) 50mm s shaped support curve (2) set dis side guides (1) set mag side guide assy (2) prdouct support rod assy (2) e/r pair (1) start sensor w/ mounting rod (1) LSE with mounting rod (1) stack light (1) 230v power cord
Work Done: Found that U16 the AtoD in reciever circuit for product sensor was shorted from input to ground Causing feeder to always believe product present. Prepared repair quote including a few mech issues. 12/01/09 DK Receved PO 12/2/09 DK Customers account is on hold. 12/3/10 DK Customers account has been cleared. 2/23/10 Mitch changed out mech parts, and prepared for burn in. 2/24/10 DK Feeder passed burn in. 2/25/10 DK Updated software to 4.2.17b and added accutipping AT. 2/26/10 Gound off paint on bracket pieces for 150mm discharge to allow discharge to gorund out. 2/26/10 Feeder passed check out. feeder ready to ship via UPS gnd 2/26/10 DK
Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: Found a component had failed in product sensor circuit causing the feeder to always believe product was present. This would cause the feeder to feed continually when a jog to clear was done. A bulb in stack light is out. Feeder is functioning normally. Discharge exit brackets were broken. Recommend replacing these with metal ones. The spur gears have some extra play, due to the teeth waring, that will throw off placement. Feed belts and stripper wheels are in need of replacement. Repair quote does not reflect final charges for service of this unit. Other problems either mechanical or electrical may arise during the RMA process due to natural causes. This quote does not reflect shipping charges. All items will be shipped via UPS ground unless otherwise specified on purchase order. * A hard copy purchase order that agrees to repair quote charges is required before work can continue.
