What Arrived: The key pad was not responding, and customer wiggled wire and saw smoke coming out of feeder. Customer also sending in ADT claims it isn't always retracting and extending at the same speed. (Machine Serial Number:unknown at this time)
Description of Problem: MFT 250 ED SN 0144-01991 (3) 30mm plum vac belts (3) 30mm plum stripper wheels (6) 20mm plum discharge belts (1) pair of mag side gudies (3) product support rods (1) custom transfer plate used as product brige between APL, and feeder (1) low product sensor (1) stack light (w/o top cover (1) e/r pair (1) adt interface cable (1) apl interface cable (2) 120 volt power cords ADT 250 SN 0050-01714 all standard acerioreis
Work Done: Evaluated feeder found amc amp board unable to repair. keypad malfunction. sortware corrupted causeing feeder to falut when second product hit prod sensot with various diffrent lengths. Evaluated drop table found u1 was blown. k4 on interface board was casuing drop table to extand slowly and not consistantly. Prepared repair quote, and faxed to customer. 10/10/08 DK Customer came in to except machines, and train. We locked the operator out of critical settings. Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: Feeder had AMP board damaged beyond repair, key pad malfunctioned, and software was corrupted. ADT had two components on the interface board fail causing it to extend slowly. The cable that connects from the drop table to your PLC is 20 feet long please advise if a longer custom cable is needed. Repair quote does not reflect final charges for service of this unit. Other problems either mechanical or electrical may arise during the RMA process. This quote does not reflect shipping charges, shipping material or box.
