What Arrived: (Machine Serial Number:0706-07264)Customer having trouble with the jog feature, Whe he presses the jog button, the feeder ramps up to max speed even though the max jog speed is set to 15mpm. Also the product does not stop at the e/r pair. Please eval and quote Please quote taller mag sides quide product rods. Get UPS Account Number.
Description of Problem: MFT int 350 XED SN 0706-07264 (3) 30mm white R feed belts (3) 30mm plum stripper wheels (6) 20mm plum discharge belts (1) s shaped support curve (2) brackets for support rods (2) brackets mounted on rear feet (1) signal light (1) E/R pair (1) line speed encoder (1) 120 volt power cord (1) alan key set
Work Done: Checked feeder in. 4/21/08 .25 hours DK Attempted to board level troubleshoot feeder. Ruled out AMP board, interface board, power supply, computer board, and soft ware. Hooked up a test motor, and feeder could now spin a motor. 4/21/08 1 hour DK Replaced motor. 4/21/08 1.5 hours DK Put feeder into burn in, and observed for proper operation. 4/21/08 .25 hours DK Feeder passed burn in. 4/22/08 DK When performing a check out found that DC power supplies were not steady when APL was connected to feeder even without power to APL. Determined that the product sensor was the cause. Replaced product sensor with one from spare parts. 4/22/08 1.75 hours DK Completed check out. 4/22/08 1 hour DK Feeder repaired under warranty per Mark Nordling Ship UPS ground under customers account. 4X1380 4/22/08 DK
Repair Quotation Notes: Completed By: Tony, We are installing the motor right now, and will put the unit into test overnight tonight. As long as all things look good in the morning, we will ship tomorrow for a Wednesday delivery. I am covering all work under warranty, but I will need a PO for the parts if you choose to purchase those. Send the PO before Noon tomorrow to include them in the shipment.
