What Arrived: (Machine Serial Number:0440-07145) Customer having issues with unit feeding doubles. We troubleshot over the phone to fix the problem but had no resolution. Needs software upgrade then test to see if anything needs to be done. Comb through entire machine to replace all missing or damaged hardware. also please replace all defective/missing hardware, etc... We are including a number of dummy pack slips and ask that you verify the system detecting incorrect thickness, i.e. too thick/multiple pack slips.
Description of Problem: MFT 250 SN#0440-07145 (2) 30mm plum feed belts (2) 30mm plum stripper wheels (4) 20mm plum discharge belts (1) product sensor (1) pair of side guides (1) S curve ED discharge with table Customer samples
Work Done: While feeder was being examined I saw that the motor back tracts slightly after it stops. 10/29/07 .25 hours DK Narrowed down problem to interface board 10/29/07 1 hour DK Generated a Repair Quote 10/29/07 .5 hours DK Trouble shot board until I found U18 to be defective, and replaced 10/29/07 5 hours DK Tested interface board, and found it to be fully functional 10/30/07 .25 hours DK FAxed Quote to Customer 10-30-07 bbyrd Replaced computer board per company policy with no charge to customer, and remounted interface board. 10/30/07 .5 hours DK Pulled parts to begin job 10/31/07 .25 hours DK Disassembled feeder enough to remove worn parts 10/31/07 1 hour DK Checked removed shafts for strightness, and shined them 10/31/07 .25 hour DK Cleaned feeder 10/31/07 .25 hour DK Put feeder back together with parts listed on repair quote. 10/31/07 1.75 hours DK Ran feeder through a checkout 10/31/07 .5 hours DK Set feeder in 12 hour burn in. 10/31/07 .25 hours DK .25 hours DK Replaced hardware for side guides and support rods. Had to press knobs together. 11/1/07 .5 hours DK Set feeder up to run product. Machine feed a single product, but the product was skewed. Discovered that customers feed belts need replacing. 11/1/07 .5 hours DK Ran customers product successfully. 11/1/07 .25 hours DK Put feeder through second check out, and put it into a burn in. 11/1/07 .75 hours DK Replaced feed belts, and found them to be too tight.
