Project Scope: An MFT 350 Industrial Performance “IP” XED Friction Feeder system with 350mm wide 375mm long discharge to feed CR 80 Cards and Signatures up to 300mm (11.81”) wide onto a Bobst Folder gluer machine at a rate of up to 400 per minute. The Bobst machine will feed a base sheet, a glue machine shall apply glue to the base sheet, and each MFT 350 IP XED Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a CR 80 card into the pinch point of a top belt assembly onto the spot glued surface by a Tipping Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. Left and Right Discharge Side guides will be used to ensure that the products are straight as they are fed. Each feeder can also be used to batch count various products up to 300mm (11.81”) wide.
