Project Scope: Sequence of Operation: The proposed system consists of two MFT 350 Industrial Performance “IP” XED Friction Feeders with 375mm long discharge to feed CR 80 Cards, envelopes, and other various products up to 300mm wide (11.81”) into the pinch point a moving web on your existing Webcraft machine at a rate of up to 600 feet per minute with a tolerance of +/-1/8”. This proposal is contingent upon a successful test of a stack of customer supplied samples. The Webcraft machine will present a web and a customer supplied glue machine shall apply glue to the web. The MFT 350 IP XED Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product into the pinch point of the moving web onto the spot glued surface by a Tipping Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The feeder will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes the computer timing compensation package varies the timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This feature also allows the operator to place two inserts one after another on a base card. The feeder will be configured with an Automatic Product loader for increased in feed magazine capacity positioned at 90 degrees in respect to the feeder over the mechanical side. The feeder will be mounted onto a square bar mounting frame that will allow the position of the feeder to be adjusted quickly and easily in the x, y, and z directions. A remote keypad will 10ft cord will be used to control the feeder remotely. A Clear Product Detect Sensor with mounting can be used to detect clear products as they are fed. The Spart Parts kit s and the Installation were ordered on a separate purchase order. The mounting was purchased under a separate purchase order (P.O. # 128498): The proposed system consists to add a support frame and mounting to your two MFT 350 Industrial Performance “IP” XED Friction Feeders with 375mm long discharge to feed CR 80 Cards, envelopes, and other various products up to 300mm wide (11.81”) into the pinch point a moving web on your existing Webcraft machine at a rate of up to 600 feet per minute with a tolerance of +/-1/8” that are currently on order. The mounting will consist of two linear bars that support the Automatic Product Loader underneath as well as three extruded aluminum bar legs with three sets of legs to allow for a height adjustment of 29” to 69”. These legs will have three sets of interconnect extruded aluminum bars to allow the height adjustment range of 40”. The linear bars will extend an additional 55” beyond the length of the Automatic Product Loader to allow the feeder to feed up to 50” from 2nd leg under the Automatic Product Loader. Commission Calculation = $ 83,645.00 - Installation = $ 94,625.00- 5,990.00 = 88,635.00 Commission = .15% x 50,000.00 + .12 x 38,635.00 = $ 7,500.00 + $ 4636.20 = $ 12,136.20 Please note that 2 spare parts kits have been purchased on a separate purchase order and will be shipped with the equipment order. We have them listed as no charge on this order.
