Project Scope: Ship replacement feeder to Joe Poges and he will deliver to customer and pick up existing feeder. Net 30. This proposal is to exchange an MFT 250 Industrial Performance “IP” XLD Friction Feeder with 600mm long discharge to feed CR 80 Cards and Pharmaceutical Inserts up to 200mm (7.87”) wide onto a folder gluer machine at a rate of up to 400 per minute with a tolerance of +/-1/16” with an MFT 350 Industrial Performance “IP” XLD Friction Feeder with 600mm long discharge to feed CR 80 Cards and Pharmaceutical Inserts up to 300mm (11.8”) wide onto a folder gluer machine at a rate of up to 400 per minute with a tolerance of +/-1/16”. This proposal also includes an Electronic Interface Box to allow the feeder to signal the folder gluer to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. This proposal will require the MFT 250 to be returned to MFT before the MFT 350 is shipped. The folder gluer will feed a base sheet, a glue machine shall apply glue to the base sheet, and the MFT 350 IP XLD Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product into the pinch point of a Bobst top belt assembly onto the spot glued surface by a Tipping Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The feeder will be equipped with Continuous Motion Accutipping and an encoder to match the changes in the line speed and will be triggered by a start sensor. The feeder will be mounted onto a square bar mounting frame that will allow the position of the feeder to be adjusted quickly and easily in the x, y, and z directions. . Options available: An optional MFT 350 XLD Friction feeder can be purchased to feed item up to 12” wide. A set of CD Change parts will be used to feed CDs. This kit consists of a special shaped rear support, two in feed guide bars, Product Side Guides, Dual Air injection nozzles with mounting and regulator, set of special feeder belts for CDs. The feeder can be equipped with a Higher Performance motor for greater speed and accuracy. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit and a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly. As an option start up assistance can be purchases at your location, plus travel and living expenses that are billed at actual cost. Additional hours are available at our standard rates. We recommend that the technician set up the equipment at your facility and train your personnel on proper operation, adjustments and maintenance. Equipment not manufactured by Multifeeder is quoted on the basis of proposals from the vendor. Price changes from the vendor will be adjusted at the time of your order. This proposal reflects the use of Multifeeder Technology’s standard specifications. Any alteration to this proposal will be on a time and materials basis. Technical support will be scheduled after a signed purchase order has been received by Multifeeder Technology. Please allow enough time for your purchase order to be received before scheduling service support.
