Project Scope: Featuring: MFT Tipping System Including HCP Friction Feeders - Base Machine and Tipping Assembly System Operation: Base System: The Feeder gently separates the product (backer cards-wallets) from a vertical stack of the infeed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed wide edge leading, they are transferred onto a customer base conveyor with set repeat. Tipping System: A Dual Stage Tipping Feeder system is then signaled to tip a card onto the base carrier by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The card is fed with the same repeat as the base product traveling below into a second lugged powered discharge section. The card is registered to the leading edge of the lugs as they travel on the lugged discharge section. Next, the second stage will precisely tip the card onto the spot glued surface of the base product traveling below. Continuous Motion Accutipping consists of an encoder with wheel mounted on the transport to monitor the speed. If the speed of the transport changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed/timing of the feeder to ensure that the card is placed accurately. The process repeats. Set Up and Approval Note: -MFT will set-up and test one (1) product per system. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -A video for Machine Acceptance will be provided. Notes: -This proposal is budgetary based on not having complete products for testing and/or Engineering review -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a system. This proposal does not include system guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in Scope. A scope change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer. -MFT is not including a layout drawing with this proposal or order but it can be optioned. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Options Available: -Please consult with your MFT Representative
