Project Scope: Featuring: MFT IP 350XED Friction Feeder and VTC (Vacuum Transport Conveyor). The feeder separates and feeds your product from a stack in the infeed hopper of the feeder. As the products exit the feeder they are placed onto the VTC with a user settable repeat distance. The VTC will provide you with a work surface, and side mounting rails, to allow you to integrate your existing printer and dryer. Product exiting the VTC are collected on a in-line shingling conveyor for an operator to process. System Note: -All order taken before Christmas and New Years will result in a 2 week longer delivery per this proposal at 16-20 weeks -Tested products 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7. The others are similar enough not to be tested. -Some of the products were too thick to be compatible with our double detection -A contact is provided, when the conveyor stops, to allow you to interlock your existing dryer and stop it. Set Up and Approval Note: -MFT will set-up and test three (3) products. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval. Notes: -This proposal is "formal" having tested the submitted products -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in "Scope". A "scope” change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer. -MFT is not including a layout drawing with this proposal or order but it can be optioned.-This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Optional items: - Product Pneumatic Shaker to actuate the stack as they are fed. - Automatic Product Loader for increased loading capacity. - Low Product Sensor and bracket to provide a low product warning (stack light required for visual display). - Reject on Error mechanics (no controls) - Spare Parts Kit
Notes: WO#2024133 Aspen Surgical Products MRD = 16-20 weeks -MFT will set-up and test three (3) products and product tested to date are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 7. *NEEDS TO BE DETERMINED** 8/21: Redlines completed - EPW 4/24: In shipping. Customer to arrange and will pick up Friday or Monday 4/23: added pictures of mods to project docs folder. moved back to shipping, QA has also taken new pictures and backed up the VTC control box. 4/22: Upped motor to 1000W, added motor cooling fan(7018660), added VFD to regulate blower speed. Problem seems to be resolved. I have run the VTC with vacuum on for 4 hours and motor temp is stable around 90 degrees - HML 4/21: Burnt out motor during test, working on solving issues and replacing motor in INT. - HML 4/17: Moved from QA to shipping. pm 4/17: Marketing Photos Captured, ready for QA - MAE 4/17: Moved to Marketing Photos. pm 4-17: Sent to shipping - JI 4/17: QA Completed on system, moved from QA to Sales. Waiting for Video Approval - JL 4-16: Sent approval to ship email - JI 4/15: Moved to QA, Plan is to take pictures tomorrow - HML 4/14: Added video link below and sent video link to sales - HML 4/10: Working on it in Integration. Bumped for prior to ship. 4/3: Moved complete system from Production to Integration - JL 4/3: Hunter working with ME and machine shop to figure out motor mount bracket. Asking Jenn to take pictures next week. 3/27: feeder done; SC done; waiting parts for VTC - side plate are in! 3/20: Waiting on parts. 3/13: All jobs pulled and in Production, working on it. -RC 3/6: Still waiting for some parts. 3/3: testing samples have been received and are at BRWO -KSJ 2/20: Waiting for parts. 2/13: No change 1/30: Parts starting to come in. 1/23: parts on order 1/17: Complete PM tool; sent Order Ack Letter to Sales (Jim); -KSJ 1/16: Still waiting to order a couple parts for VTC. Last due date is 3/4 so far. Should receive down payment between Jan 24-30. 1/9: All jobs are created and parts are getting on order. Bumped on down payment. 1/8/25: Added Low product sensor and bracket (7160000) (4161000) per Jim's request - HML 1/3: samples received to date are logged and on Work Order Shelf; Production given samples -KSJ 1:2 Second WO review and moved to procurement - HML 1/2: added shipping and ship to address per PO#208177; PO price and quoted price do not match (TBD); reviewed Work Order and sent to Hunter for 2nd review -KSJ 1/2: New order on 12/31. Need to finish WO.
