Project Scope: Featuring: MFT HWD 600 XED Hygienic Wash Down Friction Feeder system to feed parchment sheets into trays for robot pick up at a rate of 3 per minute. The feeder separates the sheets from an inclined stack and carefully transfers them individually onto the discharge of the feeder. Products exit the discharge and into stationary trays, and materials for food contact surfaces on the feeder will not contain BPA or PFAS. *"machine ready date" estimate will be affected by end of year Holidays and MFT's current backlog** System Notes: - MFT will weld in place the left to right adjustment bolts for the product support rods and magazine side guides. - In place of springs at the exit roller height adjustment a cantilevered design will be provided. - The estimated maximum loading capacity is 1/4" for good quality products. Addition new samples will need to be provided for confirmation. As per your request, MFT Automation also includes the following in this proposal: 1. The MFT 600 Hygienic Wash Down Friction Feeder does include hollow bodies including the feeder end roller and the feeder cases. Everything that has a cavity is sealed using sealing washers or bearing isolators. 2. Implement hard controls for adjustments. As a part of this proposal, MFT Automation will include markings documenting the location of the feeder sides guides, product support rods and rear support assemblies. 3. Add markings to confirm the correct location of plastic spools/belts. MFT Automation will include markings documenting the location of the feed belts and discharge belts. 4. MFT Automation's Hygienic Wash Down Friction Feeder includes the use of lock washers where appropriate. 5. Provide a video demonstration of tear-down and reassembly. MFT Automation will include a video demonstrating the tear-down and reassembly of the feeder including the exit nose roller assembly. -The Hygienic Wash Down Friction Feeder system is designed to withstand a -5 degree F environment. -The integration between the stationary tray and the feeder is facilitated by the Standard Interface Cable Assembly, which is included as a part of the Hygienic Friction Feeder system. This enables the host machine to send signals to the feeder, signaling to feed the product into the tray. Once the feeding cycle is complete, the feeder will send a cycle complete signal back to the host machine, ensuring a seamless and efficient operation. -No mounting hardware or stands are included in this proposal. The responsibility for mounting and integrating the system into the existing production line lies with the customer. This allows for flexibility and customization based on the specific requirements of the production environment. -The Hygienic friction feeder is constructed with high-quality materials, featuring 304 stainless steel and meeting the IP 66 or better, NEMA4X Standard. This ensures the system's durability and resistance to water and other contaminants. Additionally, the system is equipped with self-contained computer controllers for precise product placement and a 1200-watt wash-down brushless servo motor, providing reliable and efficient operation. -The discharge of the feeder is angled (up to 30 degrees downwards) to ensure smooth and precise transfer of the sheet into the tray. -The MFT 600 Hygienic Wash Down Friction Feeder does include hollow bodies including the feeder end roller and the feeder cases. Everything that has a cavity is sealed using sealing washers or bearing isolators. Notes: -This proposal is considered "formal" based on a sample test video being completed and provided to the customer. -This proposal DOES NOT take into consideration the JR Automation Supplier Statement of Work 250720 or JR Automation Customer Spec Q60855, JR Automation Hygienic, JR Automation Safety, and JR Automation sample drawing. The MFT system per this proposal is a standard offering. -MFT assumes that JR Automation holds the responsibility for the Electrical Risk Assessment and Field Quality Control, and MFT will not be supplying any documentation or independent testing as described therein. -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project. -This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeders with the existing conveyor. -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Client’s equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval. A in-person visit is available as an option. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -MFT does NOT include a layout drawing with this proposal or order, but it can be optioned. -MFT is not providing customer on-site Training or Installation Assistance with this proposal.
