Project Scope: Featuring: (4) MFT IP 250XED Friction Feeders; (4) APL 2000-190 Automatic Product Loader. The system begins with an operator loading the bars onto the inline Automatic Product Loader (APL) which will provide increased loading capacity to the infeed of the feeder. The feeder separates and feeds your bars individually from a stack in the infeed hopper. As the carton travels down your existing conveyor, a start sensor detects the carton and signals the feeder, and a batch of bars are then fed into the box. Application Notes: -Kind Snacks will be responsible for spacing and orienting the cartons onto their existing conveyor. The lids will need to be vertical so they don't interfere with the feeding. -The feeder will be mounted onto a stand on rollers for height adjustment and mobility. -Vertical loading capacity is product dependent based on the condition of the bars. A full magazine full is not achievable with the bars due to their characteristics. -The transfer into the boxes will be similar to the supplied testing video. The feeder will not produce neat rows or stacks. -The rates shown are based on a short testing run and actual throughputs can vary based on product quality and consistency. Notes: -This proposal is "formal" having tested all products. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -MFT will set-up and test one (1) product. For some unforeseen reason additional parts/options are required for untested products, the customer is responsible for all associated costs. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance.

Work Done: Note re: Red KindKids bar - we are technically only doing a setup for the long bar that was originally tested; however, the KindKids (red) bar is more uniform and if we can show them we can also feed it, it could help us land more orders moving forward. If integration doesn't have time to do it, Jim said he would do it.
