Project Scope: Featuring: MFT 350 IP3 XED Friction Feeder The Friction Feeder separates your envelopes from a vertical stack and transports them individually onto the discharge of the feeder. The envelopes are then fed onto the base products, guided into the pinch point by a customer-supplied pressure roller assembly, and finally conveyed onto the Walco conveyor. For ease of use and mobility, the feeder will be mounted on a HDSR 1000-350 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers, allowing for height adjustment as needed. Key Features of the Feeder: -Feeder has a 375mm (14.76") long discharge, which is specifically designed to present envelopes onto an existing Walco transport conveyor with consistent repeat at a rate of up to 600 fpm. This feeder will be showcased at the Print United Show in Atlanta from October 18th-20th, 2023. -A Vacuum Track Assembly is incorporated to securely grip the products (including a Venturi-style vacuum pump) to ensure precise feeding. -A Pneumatic Shaker is mounted on the rear support assembly of the feeder to reduce friction between the envelopes, ensuring smooth product flow. -Hard Carcass Discharge Belts: Ensures durability and consistent performance. -Precise Seiko Counter Height Adjustment Knobs: Enables precise control and alignment during operation. -Hard Carcass Nose Roller Assembly: Allows the discharge to be positioned closely to the product traveling below, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. -Left and Right Discharge Side Guides: Provides additional support and guidance for the envelopes during the feeding process. -Continuous Motion Accutipping Repeat Controls: Equipped with an encoder and wheel to be mounted on your base machine, allowing you to monitor its speed accurately and maintain a consistent feed rate. Notes: -This proposal is "budgetary" based on not having complete products and/or label for testing or Engineering review -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -MFT will set-up and test two (2) products. If, for some unforeseen reason, additional parts/options are required for untested products, the customer is responsible for all associated costs. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing Walco transport conveyor. -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in "Scope". A "scope” change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Options: -MFT Automation can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates.
