Project Scope: Featuring: (2) MFT 250 V3 XED Friction Feeders to feed polyester pouches into the lug chain in-feed of a Compliance Wrapping machine up to 150 pouches per minute. Each Feeder will separate your products from an inclined stack. Each product is transferred individually onto the discharge of the feeder. The emitter-receiver pair of the feeder will be removed and replaced with a sensor, mounted over the top of the discharge, to detect the products as they are fed. The products exit the discharge into the in-feed of the wrapping machine via a start sensor provided. Feeder Notes: -To reduce friction between the products and ensure smooth product flow, a Pneumatic Shaker will be mounted onto the rear support assembly of the feeder. -The MFT 250 will be straddle mounted onto a Compliance Wrapper using customer-supplied mounting hardware Note: -This is repeat order (#2021113) feeding the same product deeming this proposal "formal". -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -MFT is not providing product set ups with this proposal. However, they can be optioned. -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Options Available: -Product set-up -An Automatic Product Loader (APL) APL 2000-190 (2000mm x 190mm) is an option that can be added to the system to enable an optimum stack height in the in-feed magazine of the feeder and increase the in-feed magazine capacity. Please note that the option is priced for in-line configuration only. If you require the APL to be mounted from the side, additional charges will apply due to modifications required. -Multiple Product Detection -Batch Count Mode -Spare Parts Kit -Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly -Service Training and Installation Assistance
