Project Scope: Featuring: MFT Impresso Labeler (4" LH) to apply a 2.0" round label onto backer cards traveling on a Moll Folder Gluer at a rate of 250 per minute. The Labeler is straddle mounted over a Moll Folder Gluer by the customer. A roll of labels (up to 20" in diameter) is loaded on the unwind, which gently unwinds the roll of labels with to stage them to be applied. A customer mounted product sensor will detect the sheet traveling on the host system and apply the label onto the base sheet. Impresso Notes: -The Impresso Labeler is equipped with a brushless servo motor. -The Impresso Labeler is configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted to the base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the labeler to ensure that the label is placed accurately, regardless of the speed of the base machine. -There is no mounting for the Impresso Labeler supplied. Notes: -This proposal is "budgetary" based on not having complete products and/or label for testing or Engineering review -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -MFT will simply build and ship these systems to B and R. -MFT to 'burn in' and confirm functionality of systems only -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Labeling Notes: -Label placement accuracy will be verified once samples have been submitted for testing. Typical placement accuracy is ±2mm to ±3mm and is exclusive of product and/or label variations -Product flow of the labeler is left to right as facing the labeler's operator controls -The label is assumed to be round, clear and with a clear poly liner. No samples have been submitted. -The label liner must be free of cuts, nicks and deep die-line cuts to be successfully applied at the speeds as quoted -No mounting has been provided for the Impresso Labeler
