Project Scope: Featuring: Two (2) MFT Automation 550 IP3 XED Industrial Performance Frictions w/375mm (14.76") long discharge and APL 2000-485 Automatic Product Loader The proposed system consists of two MFT Automation 550 IP3 XED Industrial Performance Friction feeder systems to feed abrasive sheets wide edge leading perpendicular to flow into the infeed of a Doyen Pouching mahine at a rate of up to 130 per minute. In addition, each feeder (separate from the loader) can be moved to feed product # 10 into the infeed parallel to flow at a rate of up to 60 per minute. An Automatic Product Loader (in line configuration) will be mounted onto two adjustable legs on casters and will be attached to stand of the feeder with docking hardware (allowing the loader and feeder to be separated). Each loader will be utilized to allow for an optimum stack height in the in feed magazine of the feeder and for increased in feed magazine capacity. The Friction Feeder will separate your products from an inclined stack, with the assistance of a Pneumatic Shaker for some products, transporting them onto the discharge individually. The feeder is signaled (by the customer) to feed a product into the flighted infeed perpendicular to flow of the customer's host machine. *"machine ready date" estimate will be affected by end of year Holidays and MFT's current backlog** Notes: -This proposal is "formal" for all products that have been tested #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, and 12 only (all non-tested products may require addition options and will be billable) -Product # 10 will be fed with the narrow edge leading at a rate of up to 60 per minute. (This will require that the feeder is separated from the loader and is moved on its stand to feed the product parallel to flow). -MFT will set up and test one (1) product only -The APL as proposed will be in line with the feeder's infeed. -No URS/Specifications were summitted with this proposal. -A URS/Specification submitted after this proposal will result in a requote. -This proposal is the sole and governing document. -No Layout approval drawing is provided with this proposal. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Options Available: -Spare Parts Kit -Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly -MFT on site customer training and installation assistance
Notes: KIC Team WO 2023048 8/24: Shipping today 8/17: Integration finishing up punch list. Should be done this week. 8/10: 8/15 customer visit 8/3: Mike and Steve working on it in Integration. 7/27: building APL's 7/20: Feeders are in burn in; APL need to be pulled; 7/19 Update Project Sample table to include KICTeam cardboard stand 91mm x 293mm for the machine acceptance test instead of product #10. -Mark N 7/10: update work order to reflect that we will feed the KICTeam cardboard stand 91mm x 293mm for the machine acceptance test instead of product #10. 7/6: Two feeders are built. Have to build APLs. (Shutterfly first priority) Need clarity on new sample 6/29: In production. 6/22: In production. Testing still in queue for Micah. 6/15: No change on parts. Waiting for Micah to do testing. 6/8: No change. Working through a new sample. Micah doing testing and possibly working through a change order is needed. 5/25: no change 5/18: no change 5/11: No change 5/4: No change 4/27: No change 4/20: Everything on order. 4/13: Processed in procurement. Quoting parts 4/10: KICteam has verified via e-mail that they prefer the machine acceptance video to show product # 1 (CR 80 card 83mm x 51mm) fed wide edge leading (with APL) and product # 10 (card 54mm x 330mm) being fed narrow edge leading (feeder only no APL). -MARK N. 4/6: Kick off meeting scheduled for Monday. 3/30: Waiting for information to be updated. Can kick off now early next week. 3/27 Per Mark N we are only running #11 (wide leading) and #10 (narrow leading) and he has requested samples. Updated photo and sample information in the Work Order. -KSJ 3/24 Layout drawing approved. Tentatively we will run product number 10 (narrow edge leading) and product number 11 wide edge leading for the FAT. 3/23: Received signed layout this morning. Kevin to schedule kick off to procurement. 3/16: Mark will follow up on layout with customer. 3/2: Received PO and invoiced down payment yesterday. ME has a layout for sign off 2/23: Received PO this morning. Waiting for signed proposal before invoicing.
