Project Scope: Featuring: MFT 1500 Impresso Wraparound Labeling System The operator will hand place (top down) and pre-space the product on the conveyor. The product is conveyed towards a powered wrap belt assembly and a fixed backup pad. The product is then captured in-between the rotating wrap belt assembly and begins to spin. A product sensor detects the spinning product in the wrap belt and dispense the label capturing it between the product and wrap belt. As the product rotates, the label is finished and released from the wrap belt assembly. The labeled product is conveyed to the outfeed of the conveyor to be process further. The label is not oriented on the product. Notes: -This proposal is formal. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Labeling Notes: -Label supply roll = 16" OD x 3" ID Core -Label labels as submitted need to be converted to narrow edge leading. The label will not work as supplied. -MFT is assuming that the product will have one single label applied or just applying the main logo label. The small product specific label must be applied by the customer after the large label is applied because orientation of the label is not included in this proposal. -MFT assumes the product is empty when labeled and the side walls of the product are rigid enough to withstand sie pressure to wipe down the label -MFT assumes that the customer has qualified the label adhesive with the product and its condition (cold, possibly wet, condensing, etc.) -The label liner must be free of cuts, nicks and deep die-line cuts to be successfully applied at the speeds as quoted -MFT will set-up and test one (1) product with one (1) label combination each. Additional set-ups are available as an option.
