Project Scope: Featuring: MFT 550IP3 XED Friction Feeder with (APL) Automatic Product Loader and stock units consisting of (1) 350 base feeder, (3) 250 tipping feeders and (2) 250HCP ED base feeders. The operator loads the products, in shingled fashion, onto the APL 2000-485 Automatic Product Loader. The APL will replenish the stack of product the in-feed hopper of the feeder as it separates the products and feeds them onto your existing flat belt conveyor. The feeder will be setup to be right justified so the right hand side guide is fixed. System Notes: -Some skew is to be expected with the products due to the shapes and diecuts of the products. PFS will have a registration table, after the feeder to square the products. -The quoted throughput of 175PPM is based on the feeder running continuously or large batch sizes so there isn't a loss of time from pausing. -Only the square and rectangular sheets, that we tested, can be run in either direction. Due to the die cuts in the products there may be some that can't be fed in both orientations including pretested samples. For sheets that are not square or rectangular these can only be fed in one orientation. -Due to the thickness and color of some wristbands the standard double detect maybe disabled. -Double detect will not work when using the clear product detect sensor. -PFS will mount the feeder to their conveyor base. The APL will be free standing on its own mount. Notes: -This proposal is "formal" having tested all products. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -MFT will setup and test (2) sample sizes, in one orientation, which will be your largest and smallest size. -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance
