Project Scope: Featuring: MFT 350 IP3 ED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder system to tip CR 80 Cards up to 300mm wide onto base products traveling on a Moll Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 300 per minute. The feeder separates your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder and transports each individually onto the discharge. The feeder will tip the product into the pinch point of a top belt assembly on the Moll machine to assure a positive transfer from the feeder onto the base product traveling below. The Moll system feeds a base product and a gluer applies spot glue to the base product. The feeder is signaled to feed a product onto the base product with the spot glue traveling below. Feeder Notes: -Customer to straddle mount feeder over existing system. -The feeder will be equipped with 50% gearing to allow the discharge belt to travel 50% faster the feed belts to provide additional spacing between the products on the discharge as they are fed. -The feeder will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the tip on insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. Notes: -This proposal is "formal" having a known, proven CR-80 product. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -This proposal assumes that Moll will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the Moll folder gluer machine. MFT can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance. Options: -Spare parts kit
