Project Scope: Sequence of Operation: The proposed system consists of an MFT 550 Industrial Performance “IP” Series Friction Feeder with 375mm long Extended Discharge to present envelopes up to 20” wide into the in feed of your existing Heidelberg printing press at a rate of up to 15k per hour. The feeder will be equipped with Continuous Motion Accutipping Repeat consisting of an encoder mounted onto the Heidelberg to allow the feeder to monitor its speed to present envelops at a specific distance of travel apart into the Heidelberg in feed. The feeder will be configured with Left and Right Discharge Side Guides to be certain that the products are straight as they are fed. The feeder will be mounted onto an HDSR 1000-550 Stand on Roller for mobility. A SC 1000-350 Shingling Conveyor will be used at the end of your press to accumulate the completed products. We are willing to waive the installation fee for this order provided that it can be scheduled the same week as an existing visit to your area. Multifeeder warrants that system will perform as specified in the proposal with a 95% efficiency provided that the feeder is used in accordance with the feeder manual, by properly trained operators with good quality product or Multifeeder will refund to Ry-Gan their down payment less freight within 90 days. Options available: The MFT 550 IP Friction feeder can also be signaled to feed by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. An optional MFT 350 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder can feed products up to 12” wide. The feeder can be configured with an optional APL 2000-550 Automatic Product Loader for increased in feed magazine capacity. Other options include a spare parts kit and a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly. As an option start up assistance at your location can be purchased, plus travel and living expenses that are billed at actual cost. Additional hours are available at our standard rates. We recommend that the technician set up the equipment at your facility and train your personnel on proper operation, adjustments and maintenance.
