Project Scope: Featuring MFT 350 IP3 Friction Feeder w/ ED Discharge (2021 Demo Model SN 2121-10381) to tip cards onto base product traveling on a folder gluer machine at a rate of up to 300 per minute. Base products will travel on your existing folder gluer machine, a customer supplied glue machine will apply "spot" glue to the base product. The Friction Feeder will separate your CR 80 Cards from an inclined stack and will transfer them one at a time onto the discharge of the feeder. The feeder, will be signaled by the start sensor, to feed the card onto the "spot" glue surface between the pinch point of a customer supplied Pressure Roller Assembly and the base product. The process then repeats for the next card. Feeder Features: -Continuous Motion Accutipping Controls; an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeders to ensure that the top sheet is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. Notes: -This proposal is "budgetary" based on not having complete products and/or label for testing or Engineering review -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -MFT assumes per this proposal that the card will be fed narrow edge leading -The customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing folder gluer machine. -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -This proposal includes the set-up and testing of one (1) product only -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Options Available: -Pneumatic Shaker Assembly can be utilized to reduce friction between the products as they are fed and to assist with product flow -Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber can be used to allow the feeder to best grip the product as they are fed. -Relay Interface Box can be used to signal the transport to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. -Spare Parts Kit -Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly -MFT Training and Installation Services
