Project Scope: The revised proposed system consists of two Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 IP3 XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder systems to feed top chipboard sheets parallel to flow onto Lasagna pans traveling on the flighted infeed of a Texwrap 1407 SS wrapping machine at a rate of up to 60 per minute. Each MFT 350 IP3 Friction Feeder will gently separate your products (up to 300mm or 11.81" wide) from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be used to best grip the products as they are fed (house vacuum supply).A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly with Diamond Support Plate will be utilized to support the stack from the back as they are fed. The feeder will be mounted onto a CSR 1000-350 Cantilever Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility and will be signaled to feed by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly detecting the Lasagna pan traveling below. The feeder will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping controls consisting of an encoder (supplied by Texwrap) with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the top sheet is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. The feeder can achieve an 95% efficiency based on the following conditions being met: 1) Equipment is run in conjunction with the applicable maintenance and operating manual, by trained operators with good quality product. 2) Equipment must be installed by Multifeeder factory trained installation at standard rates and conditions. 3) Performance issues must be raised within 60 days of installation and Multifeeder must have 30 days to resolve issues if they are determined to be issues with the equipment. 4) Factory acceptance test with same representative samples as will be run on site must be performed prior to shipping. 5) If the feeder system fails the Factory Acceptance Test and Multifeeder is unable to resolve, Request Foods will be eligible for a refund for the equipment. This proposal assumes that the customer will install and integrate the feeder with the existing Texwrap Wrapping machine. Multifeeder can provide installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates.
