Project Scope: Shipping: Best way, prepay and add Ship the first 2 labelers to address above. Ship the third labeler when finished to the below address: K&H Printers (Attn: Rob Haines / Mike Baron) 7720 Hardeson Rd. Suite C Everett, WA 98203. PH: (425) 446-3329 The proposed system consists of three Multifeeder Technology Impresso Labeling machines to each apply 1-1/2" round labels onto backer cards traveling on a Moll Folder Gluer at a rate of 250 per minute. Each Multifeeder Impresso Labeling Machine will be straddle mounted over a Moll Folder Gluer by the customer. A roll of labels (up to 20" in diameter) is loaded on the unwind, which gently unwinds the roll of labels with to stage them to be applied. Each labeler is equipped with a brushless servo motor and with computer control to supervise the labels as they travel through the labeling machine. The labels will exit the peel plate and will be applied onto the sheets that are traveling on the folder gluer. The Impresso will be signaled to apply a label onto the base sheet by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The Impresso will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the labeler to ensure that the label is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the Impresso labeler with the Moll machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, integration, installation service as an option at our standard rates.
