Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 V3 XED Signature Series Friction Feeder system to present metal credit cards into a shredding machine at a rate of up to 120 per minute. The MFT 250 V3 Friction feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack and will transported them individually onto the 375mm (14.86") long discharge of the feeder. The feeder will feed the metal credit cards with either the wide or narrow dimension leading one at a time into a customer supplied and integrated shredding machine at a rate up to 120 per minute. The feeder can be signaled to feed and provide back feeder status via a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. Alternatively the feeder can be set to feed the cards at a user-selected rate per minute using the feeder's demo mode. The feeder will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-250 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing shredding machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, integration, installation service as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: A Pneumatic Shaker can be mounted onto the rear support assembly of the feeder to reduce friction between the products as they are fed and to assist with product flow. The feeder can be configured with Batch Count Mode and/or Multiple Product Detection as an option. An optional Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber can be used to best grip the products as they are fed. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder Installation.
