Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology Industrial tipping and folding system to feed, tip, and fold products at a rate of up to 250 per minute. This proposal is contingent upon a test of samples and a confirmation of project details. A Multifeeder Technology MFT 550 IP3 Friction Feeder will gently separate your Backer Cards (up to 500mm or 19.68" wide) from an inclined stack and will transfer one at time onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A Pneumatic Shaker will be mounted onto the rear support assembly of the feeder to assist with product flow. The feeder will present the backer cards one at a time with consistent repeat onto a Multifeeder Feeder Technology VTC 4000-550 Vacuum Conveyer (4000mm x 550mm). This feeder will be configured with Accutipping Repeat Controls consisting of an encoder mounted onto the vacuum conveyor to monitor its speed. The computer compensation package of the feeder will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the backer cards are placed with consistent repeat regardless of the speed of the conveyor. Next a Nordson Hot Melt Glue system will be used to apply glue to the backer cards. Next a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 Friction Feeder will gently separate your Backer Cards (up to 500mm or 19.68" wide) from an inclined stack and will transfer one at time onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be utilized to best grip the products as they are fed. A Pneumatic Shaker will be mounted onto the rear support assembly of the feeder to assist with product flow. The feeder will be signaled to feed the sachets into the pinch point of a motor driven pressure roller assembly onto the spot glued surface of the cards by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The MFT 250 IP3 Friction Feeder will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping Controls consisting of an encoder mounted onto the vacuum conveyor to monitor its speed. The computer compensation package of the feeder will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the sachets are placed onto the backer cards accurately regardless of the speed of the base conveyor. As the products travel on the conveyor they can be folded left to right and or right to left by a folding plow assembly. The completed products will be transferred onto a Multifeeder supplied Shingling Conveyor SC 2000-350 (2000mm x 350mm) Perpendicular to flow. Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. A Factory Acceptance Test with customer supplied samples will be done to verify system performance prior to shipment. This proposal assumes that the customer will install the feeding and transport system. Multifeeder can provide installation services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: Optional item include a Spare Parts Kit, A Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.

It sounds like the customer has located some samples that we can use for FAT, just waiting for them to be sent in. 8/12: Worked on in production 8/5: In production 7/29: Portion in production. Waiting on parts for the rest. 7/8: No update 7/1: No Update 6/24: No update 6/17: No update. Waiting on parts to arrive. 6/10: Everything on order 6/3: Been released. Quoting parts. 5/13: New order. Kicked off to engineering this morning. Need layout drawing.
