Project Scope: This proposal consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 V3 XED Signature Series Friction Feeder system to folded leaflets (4-1/8" x 3") for robot pick up and placement into a carton at a rate of up to 30 per minute. The MFT 250 Friction feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack and will transported them individually onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A Pneumatic Shaker will be mounted onto the rear support assembly of the feeder to reduce friction between the products as they are fed and to assist with product flow. The MFT 250 V3 will be signaled to feed a leaflet for robot pick up and will provide back feeder status via a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. The feeder can feed the products into an optional Multifeeder supplied catch tray for robot pick up. An APL 2000-190 Automatic Product Loader (2000mm x 190mm) will be position inline with respect to the feeder for increased in feed magazine capacity. A sensor will be mounted in the in feed magazine of the feeder, once the stack drops below a pre-set level the sensor will signal the Automatic Product Loader to replenish the stack. In addition, a second Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly will be mounted onto the Automatic Product Loader to signal a Low Product condition on the feeder (flashing yellow light).The feeder will be supplied with two 15 degree brackets to allow the feeder to be tilted back 15 degrees to allow for an optimum transfer from the loader into the feeder. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder and Automatic Product Loader with your existing robotic solution. Options Available: The feeder and loader can be mounted onto an optional HDSR 1000-250 Heavy Duty Stand on Roller for height adjustment and mobility. The MFT 250 V3 can be configured with Batch Count Mode and/or Multiple Product Detection (double detection) as an option. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and standard feeder installation.
