Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 HCP XED Slider Industrial Performance Friction Feeder system to feed folded leaflets into the flighted in feed of your existing transport at a rate of up to 250 per minute. This feeder includes a sales incentive for an order placed on or before December 22nd, 2020. The MFT 250 IP3 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually onto the 375mm (14.86") long discharge of the feeder. A vacuum track assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be utilized to best grip the products as they are fed. Top and bridge belts (top and bottom to help transfer the small products onto the discharge of the feeder. An index rear support with linear scales will be used to allow for a repeatable set up. A shaker will be mounted onto the rear support assembly of the feeder to reduce friction between the product as they are fed and to assist with product flow. The feeder will be signaled and will provide back feeder status via a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. The feeder will be configured with Left and Right Discharge Side Guides, Hard Carcass Discharge Belts, Precise Seiko Counter Height Adjustment knobs, and a Hard Carcass Nose Roller Assembly to allow the discharge to be placed close to the product traveling below. The feeder will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-250 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing transport. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options available: Options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
