Project Scope: The proposed system consists of two Multifeeder Technology MFT 550 V3 XED Signature Series Friction Feeder systems to tip paper leaflets onto pans as they travel on an existing transport at a rate of up to 18 per minute. Each MFT 550 V3 feeder will gently separate your products from in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually onto the 375mm (14.86") long discharge of the feeder. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly (HD 425) with Diamond Support Plate will be used to support the stack from the back as they are fed. Pans will travel on your existing transport, a glue machine shall apply glue to the base product, and the MFT 550 V3 XED Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product onto the spot glued surface of the product traveling below by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. Each feeder will be configured with Easy Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the tip on insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing transport. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates.
