Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 550 IP3 WD XED Industrial Performance Series Wash Down Friction Feeder system to feed cardboard pizza rounds onto your existing conveyor (perpendicular to flow) at a rate of up to 75 per minute. The MFT 550 IP3 Stainless Steel XED Friction Feeder will gently separate your products from an inclined stack and will transfer them individually onto the 375mm (14.76") discharge of the feeder. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support the stack from the back as they are fed. The feeder will be signaled to feed a product into the belted in feed of a Ulma Packaging Machine (perpendicular to flow) and will provide back feeder status using a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. The feeder will be equipped with Stainless steel cases, hex head fasteners, connectors, a wash down motor, and cables to accommodate wash down. The MFT 550 IP3 Stainless Steel XED Friction feeder uses case inside of a case design to allow for cleaning with water, steam, chemicals, or a mixture of them. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing conveyor. As an option Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option.
