Project Scope: This proposal consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 IP3 XLD Friction Feeder with 600mm (23.64) long Vacuum discharge to present Tyvek Pouches up to 300mm wide( 11.81")to be printed by a customer supplied and integrated Bell-Mark Intelijet TS thermal inkjet printer at a rate of up to 30 per minute. The MFT 350 IP3 Industrial Performance Friction feeder will gently separate Tyvek pouches from an inclined stack and will transfer them one at a time onto the 600mm (23.62") long open top vacuum discharge. A Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and feed belt with holes that travel over the chamber will be used to best grip the products as they are fed. A Pneumatic Shaker will be mounted onto the rear support assembly of the feeder to reduce friction between the products as they are fed and to assist with product flow. The discharge will be equipped with a top shaft with stripper wheels to to hold the products from the top and the bottom as they are transferred from the feed belt section onto the discharge section of the feeder. The discharge will be equipped with a single 50mm Wide vacuum belt, and 4 carriage belts on the discharge to support the products from the bottom as they travel on the discharge of the feeder. Next the Tyvek sheets will be printed by a customer supplied and integrated TS inkjet printer that is straddle mounted (by the customer with customer supplied hardware) over the discharge of the feeder. The printed products will exit the discharge of the feeder and will be transferred onto a customer supplied and integrated Catch Tray for further processing. A Static Reduction Bar will be used to reduce static on the products as they travel on the discharge of the feeder. A vacuum pump will be supplied with the system. The feeder will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-350 Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the Bell-Mark TS thermal inkjet print system with the feeder. Multifeeder can provide installation and integration services at our standard rates. Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified.
