Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 IP2 XED Industrial Performance Series Friction Feeder system to feed wrapped car air fresheners perpendicular to flow into your existing intermittent motion bucketed in feed conveyor at a rate of up to 150 per minute. The MFT 350 IP2 XED Friction Feeder will gently separate your products narrow edge leading from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed (house vacuum supply). A Pneumatic Shaker will be mounted onto the Rear Support Assembly of the feeder to assist with product flow. 100% gearing will be utilized to allow the discharge section to travel 100% faster than the feed belt section to help separate the uneven products as they travel on the discharge of the feeder. The feeder will be signaled feed and will provide back feeder status via a Standard Interface Cable Assembly when the bucket is as rest in front of the feeder. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing bucketed transport conveyor. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates.
