Project Scope: The revised proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 XED Industrial Performance Series Friction Feeder system to present folded leaflets onto an existing transport conveyer with consistent repeat at a rate of 300 per minute. This proposal includes an additional discount provided that a purchase order is placed for this proposal and proposal # 31919-R3 together on or before November 14th, 2020. The MFT 250 feeder will gently separate your products (up to 200mm or 7.87" wide) from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed (house vacuum supply). The MFT 250 IP3 will be signaled to start the feeding process and will provide back feeder status via a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. The feeder will be equipped with Accutipping Repeat software consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the leaflets are placed with consistent repeat regardless of the speed of the base machine. An Automatic Product Loader APL 2000-190 (2000mm x 190mm) inline configuration will be used to allow for an optimum stack height in the in feed magazine and for increased in feed magazine capacity. A Photo Optic Sensor will be mounted in the in feed magazine to signal the loader to replenish the feeder once the stack of product drops below a preset level. The feeder and loader will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-250 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing flighted transport conveyor. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: Other options include a Multifeeder supplied Venturi Style Vacuum Pump, a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder Installation.
