Project Scope: This revised proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology feeding and transport system to present envelopes to be printed by a customer supplied and integrated print system at a rate of up to 150 per minute. This revised proposal includes the following: 1. Adds the samples received and updates the feeding rate per minute to the sample table 2. Adds tool free change parts 3. Updates the vacuum conveyor belt width to 25.86" wide. 4. Allows you to apply the down payment previously made on PO 34125 (as per proposal # 31552-R4) to this revised proposal. A Multifeeder Technology MFT 750 IP3 Friction Feeder will gently separate your carton blanks from an inclined stack and will transfer them onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. Two Heavy Duty Rear Support Assemblies will be used to support the stack from the back as the products are fed. A Pneumatic Shaker will be mounted onto the Rear Support Assembly of the feeder to assist with product flow. The products will be transferred onto a Multifeeder Technology Vacuum Conveyor (25.86" wide and 6 ft. long) configured with a 25.86" wide Silicon vacuum belt (center justified) consistent repeat. Left and Right Funnel Guides will be used to register the products side to side as they are transferred from the feeder onto the vacuum conveyor. The conveyor will be constructed with six rows of a 0.12" diameter vacuum hole pattern, each row approximately 1.0" from center point of conveyor width and on approximate 1.0" leads. The vacuum section will be 6.00" from the drive end and 6.00" from the idler end of the conveyor. The conveyor will have 5 separate vacuum chambers. Each chamber can be opened and closed as required for part size being conveyed. 4 chambers will supply a single row of vacuum holes, and 1 chamber will supple two rows. Five barbed vacuum port with bleeder valves will be mounted to both sides of the conveyor on the same side as the drive shaft. Vacuum Assembly, includes 4.5 HP regenerative blower (240/480V,60HZ,3PH) and manifold system consisting of relief valve, muffler, 10’ vacuum hose per port, in-line filter and necessary connecting hardware. All 2" plumbing. For 5 conveyor vacuum ports. Engineering to reference sales drawing. The sheets will be fed into the pinch point of a Conveyor Wheel Assembly to allow for a positive transfer from the feeder onto the vacuum conveyor. The conveyor will be equipped with welded frame to allow you to mount your Bell-Mark Print system over the top of the conveyor. Tool Free Change over parts are added to include the following: 1. Side Guides that are cut to fit over the top of the feed belts so they can be moved side to side over the feed belts. 2. Quick Lock Handles added to the Product Support Rods so they can be moved quickly and easily. 3. Two Heavy Duty Support Plates to best support the poly mailer samples (10" x 13" and 19" x 24") as they are fed. The feeder will be equipped with Card Line software consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the envelopes are placed with consistent repeat regardless of the speed of the base machine. The system will have the ability to resume the count after a fault occurs. The operator will set the batch count on the Multifeeder system. If a fault occurs during the batch, (example double, product jam, or no product) the feeder will be signaled to stop and the transport will continue to run one half or full rotation to complete the printing of the sheets already on the transport and then will be signaled to stop. The operator will remove the bad product, and then will press "resume" and the feeder system will continue the count. The feeder will each be equipped with an input output board to allow the print system to signal the feeder and conveyor to stop if the print is not ready. The feeder is equipped with a local e-stop button for the feeder and four e-stop positioned on all four corners of the vacuum conveyor. Bell-Mark will be responsible to add Static Control, guarding, and safety control for the system. Next a customer supplied and integrated Bell-Mark InteliJet HD system will be straddle mounted over the conveyor to print on the sheets. A customer supplied and integrated LED Dryer will be used to cure the ink. A second set of conveyor wheels will be utilized to help transfer the product from the conveyor into the Catch Tray Pan with Magnetic Side Guides where they will be stacked and accumulated for operator removal. Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. Options Available: Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Sensor Assembly, and standard feeder installation.

Waiting its turn 11/19: Working on ordering parts - 1 part left to order 11/12: Released to procurement and ordering parts 11/10 Revised purchase order received that include Tool Free Change Over parts for $ 1,497.00. 11/5: In procurement. 10/29: Redlines being corrected. Should be able to release early next week. 10/22: All in agreement on how to approach conveyor. Hoping ready to release to procurement next week. Clay needs to talk with Ed. 10/15: Received Dorner Step File, Ed emailed to get the file corrected. 10/8: Waiting to receive STEP file from Dorner on file conveyor design. Once we have it we can release to procurement. Should receive 10/12. 10/1: Place order with Dorner. Waiting for model. 9/24: Joel working on it in ME. Need model from Dorner. Received layout approval from customer. 9/17: Need STP file of new design with mounting from Bell-Mark. Need Layout approval. 9/10: Working on updated layout drawing. Should have done today. Will send STEP file to Bell Mark. Mark sent an updated proposal. 8/27: Waiting for layout drawing from ME. Estimates to be done Wednesday of next week. 8/20: Finish design of frame tomorrow. 8/14: Had a call with Bell-Mark this morning. Project needs to be requoted for VTC frame for feeder and conveyor to mount to. Mark N will work on the requote. 8/6: Kicked off yesterday. Received upgrade PO. ME working on details to put a layout drawing together. 7/30: Mark talked to customer this morning. In process of deciding if they will add or keep current order. On hold until they decide. 7/23: Being requoted in sales with a Dorner conveyor for the provided wider sample. 7/16: Customer may want customer reconfigured. Waiting for more info. They are sending 24 x 24 sample. Should arrive tomorrow. 7/9: Got revised PO. Need to reschedule a kick off meeting. Planning early next week. 7/8 revised purchase order received as per proposal # 31552-01. Work order revised to reflect changes. 7/2: Had a call with Bell-Mark on Monday. The project needs to be requoted to something more similar to past Teleflex project. Mark N working to requote for Bell-Mark. Will cancel this order and start another with approval of new order. 6/25: New order. Needs to be processed.
Work Done: BELT CHANGEOVER WORK COMPLETED 3/10-3/11 BY MATT 3/10 Travel 6 hrs. Arrived at airport at 11 am. Arrived to hotel at 6 pm (EST) 3/11 Onsite: 6.5 hrs Travel:7.5 hrs. Arrive onsite at 8 am. Changed belt over first thing. Checked tracking of belt and it was within 1 mm of CD movement Rest of time onsite we walked through the setup of the feeder and how to run the products. Left site at 2:30 pm and headed straight to the airport Arrived home at 9 pm (CST)
