Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a MFT IP 350ED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder which will separate and feed your products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. The feeder will be signaled to feed by the start sensor once a base product is detected or a passing lug on your existing system. The system will use the Accutipping Controller with encoder to provide accurate product placement during line speed changes. Curtis 1000 will mount the feeder. Optional items: Relay Interface Box to send a dry contact to the host machine if the feeder stops, Clear Product sensor to extend the product detection capability to clear products, High Performance Drive Package for increased speed capability, Pressure Roller assembly to aid the transfer from the feeder to your existing conveyor when tipping, Vacuum Chambers and Vacuum Piab (air source not included) to provide additional feeding support for slick products.
