Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology Impresso Labeling machines to apply two labels onto a single plastic sheet carrier at a rate of at a rate of up to 90 sheets per minute. A Multifeeder Impresso Labeling Machine will be straddle mounted over a Moll Folder Gluer by the customer. A roll of labels (up to 20" in diameter) is loaded on the unwind, which gently unwinds the roll of labels with to stage them to be applied. The labeler is equipped with a brushless servo motor and with computer control to supervise the labels as they travel through the labeling machine. The labels will exit the peel plate and will be applied onto the plastic sheets that are traveling on the folder gluer. The Impresso will be signaled to apply two labels onto the plastic sheet (one after one another) by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly utilizing the multiple tip function. A Static Reduction Bar will be mounted near the peel plate of the labeler to reduce static and help with the transfer of the label onto the sheet traveling below. The Impresso will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the labeler to ensure that the label is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the Impresso labeler with the Moll machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, integration, installation service as an option at our standard rates. Options available: Options include a Low Toe Stand on Rollers, aSpare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Labeler Installation.
